Helisika Agricultural Ltd was formed in 1995 as the agricultural arm of Helisika Ltd at Poronui Station Taupo. In 1996 as part owner/Pilot of Helisika Ltd Greg Gribble sold his share in the Taupo based business and concentrated on Helisika Agricultural LTD with a Hughes 500 and a small operating base at Ardmore Airport in South Auckland, specialising in Agricultural Spraying and fertiliser spreading for Farmers and Crop Growers from Auckland through the Waikato, Hauraki Plains and Coromandel. Greg has over 20 years and many 1000’s of hours flying experience in the Helicopter Industry from flying Hunters and Fishermen into remote areas in the Kaimanawas in the early days to spraying, fertilising and lifting amongst other operations over the last 14 years. Still based at Ardmore Airport with a larger hanger to house all the equipment, our B2 Squirrel and Bell Jetranger. We have increased our helicopters to match our workload but made sure we kept the business as a tight family unit with son Jaz flying one helicopter and daughter Brittany in the office, this way we still maintain 1 on 1 with our clients.
